Our PADI IDC will take you through a twelve (12) day learning adventure that starts with our two day Instructor Preparation Course (IPC), followed by the ten day Instructor Development Course (IDC) .
Our PADI Course Director, Gian Rico, will be with you throughout the course to ensure that you have the best possible start as a PADI Instructor.

Time for Fun!
The PADI IDC is a really enjoyable experience for all involved. The PADI IDC Team will all be there to assist you with any problems and to guide you effectively through the task of becoming PADI Instructors. Our 100% success rate during the PADI IE in Andamans gives you confidence that we can help you along the way.
PADI Instructor Course (AI & OWSI)
Once we have completed the IDC preparation course we will then begin the ten days of PADI Instructor Development with Gian Rico and our PADI IDC Team
The PADI IDC not only prepares you to pass the PADI IE, it also prepares you to become a professional dive instructor that can work effectively in the real world. During the IDC we cover a variety of areas such as teaching knowledge development, teaching in confined water and teaching in open water, the academic modules that are covered by the Course Director are as follows:

PADI Instructor Evaluation - IE
Upon Successful completion of your PADI IDC, you will then attend the PADI IE here in Port Blair. You will then demonstrate your knowledge and skills developed throughout the IDC to the examiner. Through the IE you will not be taught or led. This is your opportunity to show that you are now a PADI Instructor.
The process will now be comfortable for you, because you have already successfully completed many presentations in Confined water, Open water and Knowledge Development.
During the PADI IE, you will have to successfully complete the following:
- Dive theory and Standards exams.
- Knowledge development presentation
- Confined water presentation - one skill
- Open Water presentation - two skills combined
- Skills demonstration circuit
- Rescue assessment
Upon successful completion of the PADI IE, it’s time to PARTY! Congratulations - you are now be a PADI Instructor!
